| Sweranoid is an excellent take on the classic snake game. In this latest evolution, you must eat the food (orange objects) to grow longer and gain points, just like the original game. The thing that sets this game apart from the original and it's clones is that instead of moving in straight lines, the snake can move in every direction. Also, instead of the arrow keys, you control the direction of movement by moving your mouse. The snake will follow where ever you move your mouse pointer, but it does so with an elastic like reaction, which gives an extra dimension to the game play. It's quite a satisfying effect, watching the snake swerve all of the place. This of course make it more difficult to master the controls, but it's very fun. Another thing that adds to the game's challenge is that you must avoid eating the food which isn't colored orange. As you progress throught the levels, more and more "bad" food appears, making it more difficult to navigate around. |
